Waynesburg University is seeking applicants for the position of Disability Services Coordinator. This is a full-time, benefits eligible, position. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Counseling or related field preferred. Prior successful experience in the disability services field desired. Capable of working independently, candidates should possess strong analytical, organizational and communication skills and have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with various constituent groups. Manage the operations of the Disability Services Office (DSO, herein) and serve as the primary contact for students registered with the office and initial student accommodation requests. Engage in interactive process with students inquiring about/requesting accommodations and review provided documentation to determine if or what reasonable accommodations would/can be provided. Gather and analyze data related to the DSO for use in student success reporting. Periodically review and update DSO policies and procedures and maintain and update DSO content and resources on University’s website. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University’s Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
