This position manages the dispatch services division within the police department, which oversees several functions. Responsibilities include the coordination of selection process with HR for assigned personnel; training, directing, monitoring, and evaluation of personnel assigned to the division; developing and maintaining CALEA compliant policies and procedures for the division; and coordination with other divisions across the department to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices and industry standards. Must be available to respond to emergencies 24/7. Must receive Nebraska NCIC telecommunications certification within one year.
