CNC Machine Operator

Rekluse, a Race Winning Brands company has immediate 1st and 2nd shift openings (weekdays) for Machine Operators and Deburr Operators in the Boise, ID location.
Position Responsibilities:
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and running robotically tended CNC machining centers while manufacturing quality parts in a timely manner. This individual measure manufactured parts with designated measuring instruments to verify parts are within specification to print. Problem solving skills are required to identify root cause machine and part issues.
The Deburr Operator performs a critical operation vital to the quality of our pistons. This position requires performing visual inspections and finishing of forged aluminum parts which requires the ability to blend surfaces, using small files, knives, dremels, and other deburring tools to remove burrs and rough edges from machined aluminum pistons.
This position requires high attention to detail, a light touch, digital dexterity to manipulate small hand tools, and the ability to do repetitive work. It is critical to meet production rates, ensure parts conform to specifications, and communicate when quality standard is not being met. Commitment to excellence and high quality is crucial to success. Previous deburring experience in a metal shop preferred, but not required.
Functional Outline:
- Able to run and hand load all robotically tended machines
- Setup, hand load, change tools and toolsets
- Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Use designated measuring techniques for each part family
- Engineering print reading and inspection tool use to verify parts
- Keep machinery and tooling in good working order,
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
- Basic computer skills including MS office products
- Communicate issues effectively to appropriate individuals
- Learning to and/or able to read "G" code
- Visual attention to detail to detect surface imperfections such as dings, dents, scratches, etc.
- Ability to maintain focus while performing tedious, meticulous, repetitive-type deburring task
Physical Demands
Standing for long periods of time. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands and have finger dexterity; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and Able to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal Protective Equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection.
